Deborah, the fabulous blogger and reviewer at Books, Movies and Chinese Food stopped by my book signing at the Harvest Co. on Thanksgiving weekend. Here's a picture of her with me and fellow author Yvonne Ortega.

By the way, my book is number eight this month on the Harvest Co.'s bestsellers list! Yay! I finally made a bestseller list. LOL!
People keep telling my mom they look just alike. You be the judge.

My two-year-old son got into a package of bandaids I bought. Coincidentally, they're crime scene bandaids that I use as promotional items in marketing my books. Anyway, I looked down at his Little People barn and saw this. No lie. Check it out. He's a boy after my own heart.

As an author and writing instructor, I tend to be a very critical reader, but this book passed every test. Christy Barritt is an extremely talented writer, capturing my attention with her opening line and retaining it until the conclusion of her noteworthy novel, Hazardous Duty. I adored the characters, enjoyed the fast-paced, intricately-woven murder mystery, and appreciated the perfect amount of well-written dialogue. Her protagonist is strong, yet lovable, with a unique career, and the author's voice is distinctive and wonderful. I cannot wait to read more of her works. This book belongs at the top of any fiction reader's list."

Now, it's come true! Ha!
