We run a four server web farm at my work that uses Windows 2003 and a back-end state server running the ASP.NET State Service.

I recently noticed in the State Server's application event log that we have been receiving numerous errors being logged:

I have done a Google search and really did not find too much information on how to resolve this problem other than many folks have this issue.   There is a Microsoft KB that appears to shed some light on the subject.

I tried changing my SessionTimeout as described from 10, 20, and 30 seconds without any noticeable improvement.

I found another Blog entry that seems to provide additional insight on the issue.

If anyone has any clues on how to get rid of these messages, please advise.
